Hi! I’m Ashley Tolbert, the owner and director of Blossom Academy. I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and have two daughters, Chase and Kohl. They are my greatest joy and accomplishment.

I fell in love with education at a very young age. My grandmother was a teacher and administrator for over 30 years—spending time in her classroom was one of my favorite things to do as a child. So it was no surprise to anyone when I decided to pursue my love of children and education after graduating high school.  

Throughout my experience teaching kiddos from infants to fourth grade, I watched several children struggle to master basic foundational skills. This deficit made it difficult for students to succeed in kindergarten and beyond, so I vowed to develop a program where children could have fun while learning…a safe place where they could discover and explore while acquiring the fundamental skills that would prepare them for a lifetime of learning.
